| Re: Ladye bay fall. hope he has a good and quick recovery. i fish the other side of the chanel on the rocks witches- ogmore etc, which have a similar set up to layde bay area. there are a couple of musts to help minimise the risks (note minimise there will always be a residual risk left) suitable footwear...even in summer! always fish with someone. check the forecasts for swells take even more care when its wet of been raining the rocks can become as slippery as glass! __________________ 2012 targets - 180 yard measured cast, 10lb bull huss, 12lb blonde, 10lb hound, 8lb small eyed, spotted ray any size |

| Re: Ladye bay fall. I got the big pointed finger from my missus I TOLD YOU SO !!! I have taken two falls there and I do go on my own in the middle of the night. Should possibly think about it really. If shit does happen, you are screwed on your own. Need a fishing buddy I think!! The guy was fishing but it seems he had epilepsy also. In the news it said the paramedics found it to dangerous to walk along the path. Not quite sure why as it is more than wide enough to carry a stretcher. Well whatever was best for the guy really. Do not want to be knocking the Paramedics! PS: did anyone see the programme 9/11 Emergency last night. What a hell that must have been. |
