fishguard breakwaters help for disabled angler

alright lads i dont usualy ask for help but i need a new venue and was looking at Fishguard breakwater reason being we usualy fish anglesea breaky once a month because one of the lads has emphazema and heart problems ( joys of smoking) and cant walk to far but we have done the place to death ,basicly we need a park and fish and we were looking at cardiff barrage or fishguard breakys if anyone knows if you can fish from your van in these places i will be greatfull or better still if there are any other easy fishing marks like walls and breakwaters would be ok as long as same or similar distance from telford to holyhead anywhere in uk ,,thanks lads

Here`s a couple of picces from Cardiff Barrage ,i`m fishing there in the morning so will take a few with better perspective of the car park to the barrage wall ,but they are literally a 30 second walk away from each other .

great mate much appreciated he cant walk very far and has a cocktail of pills in the van so we cant be too far and over 30 yards he goes realy wobbly ,,what sort of stuff do you get there ,,hes happy catching dogs all night lol

Might be a bit far from the car park to the barrage wall itself , easy access tho , can you push your mate along to the wall ????.Anyway heres a piccie so you can get the perspective .The car park is top left you (in the background )walk over the 3 lock bridges around the control tower and onto the barrage itself,all flat surfaces. The photos taken from the far end of the barrage.

thank you mrg your a gent i will run it by him i nearly killed him once on llandudno north shore was a bit steep nasty thing emphazema makes me wonder whythe hell ppl smoke ,what is in there fish wise and what sort of bait

You get codling ,flatties ,bass eels ,mullet . ,baits worms squid etc

A lot of the local chinese fish there so they can be a pain.......

aghhhh mulllet i chased them this year in an estury in wales was a pain bloody things never again can you not fish off the wall by the car park

Yes ,you can its on to mud , only Mullet in there really ,i should think the odd flattie will be on the mud ,but have never tried really.

Heres a better one ,parking within 20yds of where you can fish .Cold Knap Beach Barry .....Flatties ,Rays ,Dogs ,Congers Whiting & Cod in the winter...

To the left and right from the centre of the car park

The fishings easy off the top of the pebbles and close to where you park..
