80lb class gear will handle fish in the 500lb to 1000lb range ,matched to a reel with suitable capacity .However a rod that heavy takes any sport out of the fishing ,30lb gear is better you can still handle fish to 200lb plus on a good 30lb outfit.

Re: with a rod of 80 lb action, u can catch a fish of weight ?

Remember an 80lb fish in the water does not weigh anywhere near the same as an 80lb fish hanging off the end of the rod in the air !
I've never used anything above 30lb rod or 28lb braid ,.. mind you i've never fished in the middle east
The reel needs to be the correct size/weight to fish comfortable and only needs to be large if you are fishing in very deep water or are likely to encounter sailfish or marlin etc where you will need to have lots of line capacity .

Unless you are going to fish offshore in the Pacific for some decent fighting fish then the rod you have is probably only good for heavy wreck fishing for conger in the SW or perhaps skate/halibut fishing in Scotland. Even the average shark in the UK only needs a 30lb TC rod. By the time you match it with a decent reel, braided line etc you will have spent more money than buying a good 20-30lb outfit. Throw it away.
Cheers
Plato
PS: In Australia, we occasionally use PE 6-8 class rods (similar to yours) for fish that can really pull you out of the boat and last time I was in the UK (July) there were no reports of such strong fish swimming around the UK or Mediteranean coastline.
