| Hi all, am thinking of going fishing next Wed and was thinking of going to Shakespeare beach, will be using Lug, Sandeel, Mackerel strips and whole or strips of squid. Will be fishing from from 8am, high tide is at 14:45. Can anyone tell me if the beach is very productive? supposed to be a lot of dogfish around there, wouldn't mind catching a few or is there anywhere better to try? Have been to Dungeness quite a few times, but am getting so many bloody whiting am fed up with them. Have also been off the Admiralty, but too many damn people with feathers and the tide was crazy last time, 8oz weight was dragged like a feather in strong winds. Don't go that often, so just hoping to put some dinner on the plate. regards |

| Re: Sea fishing Wed 03-08-11 Thanks, it's just, the last time I was on the Admiralty, didn't get one bite at all. Was on Lug and Squid. Maybe it was just one of them days. Am also going to do some night fishing down in Dungeness on Sat 06-08-11, but will be fishing prob low tide, about midnight, as Mrs and some friends from London want to take a tent and camp for a night there. This means I get to do some night fishing when they head to bed. what do you reckon? Any chance of a good fish? any advice would be most welcome. |
