Fish early morning or during the afternoon with worms and the crabs will tear them apart seconds after hitting the water however first light and dusk are good times when lure fishing .. fat chopped lobworms work in freshwater but are as much use as a handbrake on a canoe in the sea .. ![]() __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting |

Large lug bait fished at night close in will not fail off Southsea/Eastney, but for some reason everyone fishes large Mackerel baits or Rag. __________________ One day i will post a catch report again. |

| Re: shore bass fishing help yes thats true up where i fish everyone uses harbour rag makkie eel ect ive killed on lug worm (wen i can get it) there are loads in the estury you cant dig em though as its a reserve but makes sense if there are large beds of lug that will probably be a staple food for them |
