matt rowe in poole

hello chaps
me and some lads from work are going on this chaps boat on weds ;as im an in-lander can any anyone give me any tips on not being the first one to "frow chunks" i have been sea fishing before on the solent at hayling island with huge success ,but to be fair it was like a millpond , please help as there is going to be just a little bit of extraction if its me !!

dont go on the piss the night before .. take 2 stugeron when you leave the house and another 1 when you get to Poole .. forecast says its gonna be good weather anyway and the bream are just starting to show

not massive shoals but they seem to be fairly big which is odd .. spoke to a guy who reckons by the time this week or so of settled weather has passed we should be almost 6 weeks early with species .. he was worried about the lack of crabs especially spiders which doesnt look too good for the smutt season
I figure once the fishing really kicks off its gonna be totally screwed by tons of May water and manky weed
I should really dig out some pics of bream from my days crewing out of Poole

My advice is to eat a lot jam sandwiches for breakfast. it dont stop you being sick, but it taste a awfull lot sweeter when it on its way back up.

I take a stugeron the night before, another when I get up & one just before embarking on the boat. Also eat & drink sensibly. I usually have a crusty bread roll & take some bottled water. Nothing greasy or anything like coffee or orange which is quite acidic. This usually works for me.

As for early fish, i've heard theres already been the odd mackie on Chesil along with plenty of spider crabs..
