| new kid on the block needs advice hey guys, ive done alot of course fishing and i have decidedd to have a crack at sea fishing on my beach. now i was wondering, i know that to connect the mainline to the shockleader i do a a uni, or bloodknot or allbraight knot. do i do the same to connect the other end of the shockleader to the hook line. or do i do something with a swivel or what. thanks for the help ![]() |

| Re: new kid on the block needs advice attach the 'rig' via a quick link for easier removal or just tie a swivel - problem with this is , either your shockleader will get shorter and shorter or your rig will with re tying ..with regard to the shockleader , none of those knots are much kop as they will be mahoosive ! tie a loop in the shockleader, push mainline through the loop and pull shock tight . then tie a blood knot upto the knot you have formed in the shockleader . __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting |
