Hi everyone

I am currently working on a new programme for BBC3 and am looking for a female skipper to take part.

We want to send a man out with you to see what a hard day's work is all about and teach him how to respect a woman - he thinks a woman's place is in the home!

A woman's place is at home looking after the kids when im fishing. And then sorting them out when im playing the xbox.

If you mean a female charter skipper then a . youre looking in the wrong place really and b. theres not a hard days work involved - infact if its an 8 hour trip inshore , once the boat is anchored the skipper is usually having countless spliffs or sitting scratching his balls .

if your talking a female trawler skipper then good luck - they are as rare as rocking horse s""t

Look at Deadliest catch on Discovery - NO women ... look at Trawlermen on BBC1- NO women ..

On a serious note there is a renowned female skipper in Ireland called Mary ( surname slips my mind ) who is respected far and wide.

i think the femal skipper your thinking of is Mary GavinHughes.she skippers a boat called shamrock1 from the west coast of island
