Where to fish orford at the crouch???

Me and a pal are fishing thur's night at orford and are being dropped at the crouch and have never fished there before.

I've heard that it can be pretty snaggy in places so was wondering if any1 had any ideas of where to or where not to fish. Any info would be a real help!!!

Also, i hear the fishing has been pretty slow with very few cod about. What do you guys think about our chances after the high winds and the last couple of ground frosts we've had???? Surley the cod must be about soon????
