Fishing Freshwater west can anyone help me?

Me and a few friends have booked a cottage 10 mins from freshwater west and i have never fished there. was wondering were could i go to do some spinning and is the beech any good? it looks like a bit of a bass venue, but would like to learn more.

Any help would be amazing as i am leaving friday :)
