Weymouth Beach.

Fished Weymouth beach tonight for a few hours used black lug and nothing biting, high tide, full moon, no surf, fished same sport other occasions used Rag and there was plenty of surf at all different tides and had plenty of Bass.
Wh'os catching what and where in the Weymouth/Portland/Abbotsbury and West bexington areas at the mo ???
Tight Lines!!

Lug isnt the greatest summer bait in this area mate, Rag will outfish it 9 times out of ten as lug tend not to do much other than smell
Had a few whiting and pout on lug lately but deffo wouldnt fish the front without fresh rag and some squid ..there is some good digging down there but its a small mark and keeps me in rag and nice lug - just the way i want to keep it , but find some fresh out rag and most fish will happily nab it
