| Re: spinning reels steer clear of the surfmaster, bad quality build,, had mine 8mts used maybe 15 times,well maintained, never dropped, never rough housed,, i wouldnt recomend the 850.. |

| Re: spinning reels Shimano, Shimano and if you cant get a Shimano then get a Shimano. Sorry lol. As a former pro fishing guide, I still have the same Shimano's that I used 5 years ago, and I think they will last at least another 5 years. I love them. Silky smooth, reliable and above all the drag works perfectly, unlike some of the cheaper copies. It is only when you hook that fish of a lifetime that you really need that drag and it has to work without fault.
