I know the ones you mean geejay, though they are ok as you do have to take abit off the top but they can cause no release straight out of the packet. Stick with mushroom impact shields and cascade swivels and they are made ready to go. This is not at you geejay mate but for the chap who needs some help with release. Now now guys keep it clean

If you clip up on a gemini impact lead wont that do the same job? At least then the plastic top should bounce your hook off the clip attached to the lead?

If not useing a mushroom im/shield(Breakaway) as said in 1st post, but il say it again, you can use an impact lead and it will release every time. Its not the im/shields or the impact lead that is the problem its how you tie your rigs, which i have also mentioned how to do it right, and the guy in question has it sorted. I dont use gemini but if rig is tied the right way you could tie on a safety pin and it would release everytime.
