| Any tips for Ventnor I.O.W area Im having my first fishing holiday in fiveteen years and am a bit rusty. Im basing myself at the Breakwaters house right on the beach and would appriciate any tips as to what species i might get at this time of year. Also any tips on rigs bait etc. would be welcomed      |

| Re: Any tips for Ventnor I.O.W area I got back from a club trip over to IOW on Sunday 10lb'er, so I'll put a report up soon. Didn't fish Ventnor itself, but fished either side of the town. There are a few islanders on the forum who would be better placed for info than me, and unfortunately, I didn't have all that much success anyway! | Re: Any tips for Ventnor I.O.W area ventnor itself is fine......... check it out at low water and search the gullies and runs..... expect bass, conger and painted rays from the clear area. big wrasse during daylight . |
