| Re: fishing in dover port the breakwater is without a doubt the best mate,it has deep water and strong tides , it is not connected to the land ( a boat takes you out and brings you back ) therefore there are no pedestrians in the way, it also is governed by the weather forecast,generally if the shipping forecast includes a force 5 wind or above then the boats dont run, its not the easiest of venues to fish but one of the best |

| Re: fishing in dover port the fishing isn't cheap, if i remember rightly you have to pay for pier membership of £7,then £6 to fish for the day and then £5 for the boat to take you there and back, boats leave the 'Dumphead' Pontoon near the Marina, at 8am and returning at 3:30pm sharp. Anyone can go, but remember you must be 18 years old, or over 16 if accompanied by an Adult. |
