| Re: tying on lures It depends on what line and lure you are talking about , I would personally use braid and with a hard lure I would use the rapala knot direct to the main line, you can find a good moving diagram for this on grogs knots. Hope this helps mate. Cheers Steve |

| Re: tying on lures Thanks for that. On TV you see the use of a variety of swivels and traces to stop fish biting through the line and to give the lure realistic movement. Is the rapala knot strong enough to withstand the headshake of a strong fish though? |
