Species Hunt 2007

Species Hunt 2007 ( sea and freshwater fish )

Overview
The idea is to catch as many different species with in that year and to have a bit of fun whilst doing it !!

It is open to all kinds of rod caught fishing

i.e
boat shore lake
Sea Game and freshwater

IT JUST FOR FUN
The comp is in good heart so please no cheating as any team that is proven to be cheating will be banned from the forum ( sorry just had to put this in )

The Judges decision is final

The species hunt is to catch as many different species of fish as you can from January 1st 2007 till Dec 31st 2007 .

How it works
Teams -
You will be in teams of two people of which you can chose who you wish to partner. You must be a member of the fishing forum to enter or be part of a team

The team is for the whole year and no changing is permitted.

Teams can join up anytime of the year and will just have to catch up on the old points

If a partner drops out then you can carry on as your team and can have one more fishing forum member to take thier place

The points

NEW
For a fish to be awarded you must post a catch report. The reason for this is that this is a forum and its good to read about how you caught your fish , so please remember no post no points ( oh a post of say " I caught this fish " and thats it will not count !! )

You get one point for each species of fish you catch (not for multiples of fish) there is no size limit to the fish as its a species hunt not size thing

You will be awarded a bonus of ½ point if you take a photograph the fish and publish it on the site

Eg you catch a wrasse, Tench and a brown trout then you will get three point (remember you will need to submit a picture to get the bonus points ( this is a good faith comp abuse and you will be removed from the comp as a team ) If you catch 10 Tench you will get one point only

How to submit your fish

Just post your pic or catch in the add your points section and we will do the rest

Please remember to keep your own score sheet just in case the system goes pop

Good luck and my the best team win !!
