pike fishing at broadlands

hi
im thinking of haveing ago at broadlands in hampshire to try and bag a pike or 2 with a freind from work ,
so i was just wondering how its been fishing and whats been working.

last time i fished there (4 years ago) it was a bit of a strugle, we used lampfre and live trout, on treble hook penall rigs. the results of us freezing to death was two pike between 3 of us in 8 hours. or is that the norm hear ?

if you know any other good places with in 15 mile southampton that can give a bit of fun, please could you let us know
cheers john

Good luck John,

don't forget those live baits you catch count for points too!!!

This bit of snow should bring the pike on, gather it has been a slow season so far.

There are also some good tips from some of the pike men on here too.

Mike

Thumbs up Re: pike fishing at broadlands

Good luck. I'll be interested to hear how you get on, as I've been meaning to try a piking session there myself.
