| well as today looked like the last chance of piking i will have this year(unless can persuade missus about bury hill still weather was ok, still very mild with that fabulous look when the skies are blacker than anne robinsons wardrobe infront and more gold than david dickenson from behind but stayed dry ![]() well it was not thew fastest of sessions and i had to move 3 times untill i dropped my float with 1/2 small lamprey right on the head (as float didnt even settle)of a small but fiesty jack ![]() which like the one ian had last weekend fought harder whilst unhooking than coming in also when returning it flipped from my hands and dived headfirst into the shallow edge and speared itself like a dart into the soft bank , managed to free it and it swam off well soon after not the greatest session but not a blank and managed to christen the new gear forgot to add lamprey only bait to get a touch again, think i see a pattern here now dave __________________ 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day , Game on www.exmouthsaa.co.uk I have the body of a God, Pity its Buddha :-0 Last edited by pingu; 12-14-2006 at 07:21 PM. |

| Re: broke in new rod and reel Nice report mate... Glad to see the new rods breaking their duck.... Hmmmm, pike darts eh? Love to see the look on your opponents face if you pulled three of them out for a league game down the pub.... Second thoughts, nah, rubbish idea. They'd probably make you shirt pocket a touch damp on your way to the pub. __________________ Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land.
