| Whats better for lure fishing with a multiplyer or a normal reel? I bought the John Wilson Six Shooter masterline WSS600 multiplyer, I think its a good way to fish but it will take practice to get my casting right with it. |

| Re: Multiplyer or Normal reel Well I do not think there is much in it But I prefer to use a fixed spool myself although I love fish for pike with my little abu bait caster __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |

| Re: Multiplyer or Normal reel I gave the multiplier a shot last season and could not get on with it at all !! The overruns did my nut in to such an extent that i switched back to my fixed spool the very next day and the multi's lain at the back of my tackle cupboard since, but from what other anglers have told me ,after you get the hang of it you wont go back to a fixed spool. The fixed spool reel i use for all my lure fishing is the Wychchwood f/d 40 with anti reverse lock. The spool i usually use with it is loaded with Wychwood 30lb plugger braid but i have a spare spool loaded with heavier 50 lb incapsulated braid for use in extremely windy days to prevent wind knots which are a pain in the arse!! __________________ "I LOVE THE SMELL OF ESSOX IN THE MORNING!!"
