Re: Help On College Reservoir Please

I fished college reservoir a couple of winters ago - I'd never caught a pike and set my sights on one so I set up with my carp rods, one on the buzzer with deadbait and the other on a plug (to keep myself warm!).

Took 3 visits but after trying lamprey and joey mackerel I eventually got my pike on a herring purchased at Tesco Helston on my way across. A nice fighting fish of about 8 pounds.

There is a place to buy a ticket at the car park on the side of the dam opposite the Falmouth side- about £5 if I remember correctly. I left the car there and walked away from the dam about half a mile - there are some obvious pegs with trees behind...Good luck slackline.

Re: Help On College Reservoir Please

Slackline,
I intend having a couple of days at College with my son over the Christmas holidays when he's off school. I'm a bit of a fairweather fisherman but I'll PM you before I go.

Let me know how your tricks work out
