| Hi Anyone know of any good pike venues in the solihull area - i have tryed earslwood lakes on sunday 02/10 water very very low. no surprise i blanked. |

| Re: pike venues Sometimes low water can be a blessing.........On my local club water most of our summer piking is done in low water conditions as it is a water company reservoir, all u have to think is that less water only means that the pike are more concentrated....which should make them easier to catch !! Try legering if you normaly float fish or try a bit chopped up lamprey and bits of minced bait in an old modified cage feeder to attract more bites,,,,(see my thread on modified feeders) ....im telling you m8....it can make blank days not so blank !! ![]() __________________ "I LOVE THE SMELL OF ESSOX IN THE MORNING!!" | Re: pike venues Hey thanks for that i will give it a go , not tryed feeder fishing before , mainly floats fishing for carp - lures - with the cage feeder what are u using to block up the ends - bread or groundbait.Quote "fill the feeder up with this gloop" gloop ? |
