piking underway!

so has anybody here pulled out any nice pike yet then?
so far this season, i have pulled out 4 pike, the biggest being 10lb 4oz

I've not started yet ( been to busy ) but I hope this year to catch my first pike

Yeah ive had loads Dan........but i dont think my post counts as theres no closed season on my club water mate\!! LOL!! Joking aside though my piking within the set season dates has produced a 9 a 10 and an unqualified 12 .......c my post "first proper winter sesh" Happy piking Dan mate !!

i've had them up to 17.12 this season, looking for a twenty or two before winter.

stick at it mate,one tip i must pass on,
don't get stuck in one swim,it's so easy to get comfy in a swim and stick it out for the day, change swims,repeatedly if you have to,you will cover more fish and increase your chances of catching.

i wont and never do because i make sure that i travel light with just a rod set-up, landing net, unhooking mat, forceps and scales (and phone for the camera). my last pike trip last week produced 4 pike but they were all jacks. the big'un will come next time

No fish for me because ive given them to other i got my mums first pike at 10pounds and two ounces and my mates first at 14 pounds 2 ounces but will go this weekend to a private strech of the wensum a 28 came out last year

i see john wilson pike fishing the wensum on TV today. he had some beautifully marked pike about 7-14lb
