Quick Hours Pike Fishing

Well had an hour to spend so though I would go for a scout around a little lake I know to see whats going on and decided to do a bit of plugging whilst I had my stroll

Only had two jack pike one take on dexter and the other taken on 4 inch blue storm shad . Was a great way to break up a stroll and as it was a hot bright day was happy with what I got

No pics but got me thinking of the winter months when the pike are a bit more hungry

Did have a follow in by a perch which must have been getting on for 3lb but the bugger would not take in . THe perch ended up a foot away from the bank

Re: Quick Hours Pike Fishing

Nice one Richard, those Dexters are certainly great lures for the small jacks!

Can't wait til I get onto 1 of my piking waters, but doesn't allow it until October..
