Pike from the Leeds/Liverpool Canal

Had an afternoon spare on Friday so managed to sneak out down the canal to cast a line. I've heard rumours that the big Pike are starting to feed, now that the mental weather has slowed and it's cooling down all of a sudden. Unfortunately it wasn't a lump but it did get me off the mark!

I should be able to get out a few times over the next few weeks, and am really hoping for my first double since moving to Leeds!

Any tips on catching big canal pike in the winter will be welcomed!
