| Pike Rig Help After Only Really Trying Pike Fishing This Winter, Someone Recommended To Me The Drennan Pretied Traces Which Use's 1 Standard Treble And One Double Hook. See Below For A Picture Of A Double Hook. ![]() ![]() At £2.25 A Pre-Made Trace I Have Decided To Make My Own. I Found An Old Post By Richard Expalining Step By Step How To Make Them. I Know The Drennan Pre-Made Traces Have 1 Standard Treble And 1 Double Hook But Would It Be Safe To Use 2 Double Hooks Instead Of 1 Standard And 1 Double? Would My Hooking Rate Drop Using 2 Double Hooks? Simon N |

| Re: Pike Rig Help I think it's all personal preference. The only down side is if the pike jump or shake their heads violently then a single barbless hook potentially might flip out. The best way is trial and error. tj |
