quick hour on canal

got the pass and decided a quick spin and rekkie on canal as hope to get a day session between xmas and tues 3rd somehow

decided just to pop along the pensioner bank, water was very dirty as obviously been used as a run off for river with last few days rain

so really wasnt to hopefull, tried a bright orange twin tail and realised visibility was about 4-6 inches

so switched to this sidewinder for maximum colour and vibration

4 casts later and a very fiesty jack took my offerings

had to net him out as had taken lure so far it was back out through gills and snagged back into throat,, but with a bit of carefull unhooking and having to bring whole lure back out through gills he swam away stromngly

then got call from baggie so had to go and go to the bait shop as we are on the beach tonight!!!

so short session, didnt expect much but got a result, roll on next week

as a point of interest thats 2 trips this winter on the canal and both trips had licence checked
