Ripple is on a distinguished road
Bladnock Pike.

In 1994 I fished the River Bladnock in SW Scotland from Salmon. The weather wasn't exactly "Salmon Fishing Weather" , dry and sunny in mid September and therefore the fishing was poor and no fished were grassed.
Speaking a a local fisher in the Bar that evening, he went on to say the lower river held a good head of Pike.
Never forgot this.

Anyone live that way who maybe able to shed any light on this ?

Thnx,

Ripple.
