| can see the buggers but cant get a take !!!!  any tips fished a new water yesterday and could see pike in most swims but couldnt get a take on deadbaits or lures its quite a little fished venue and is at least 8 foot deep going up to 14 foot .     |

| Re: can see the buggers but cant get a take !!!! The trouble with seeing pike is that they can see you..Is the water always clear? also is there a lot of pray fish. If the water colours up at all that might be the time to catch them out if not try into dusk as this is a time the pike can hunt without standing out and being seen by the pray fish,if the water is stacked with silvers you could try livebaiting as it will be a easy meal for them or try a different dead bait maybe lampry or eel..all the best hope this helps..  __________________ Confucius say...
