Nice little pit you have there.

and that 15lb'er looks a good fish.
He didn't land it using that small net behind him though did he?

Nice report

Re: Couple of jacks local gravel pit:)

Cheers pal, it was planned to be a carp pit, but the guy said it was too overun with pike as its a run-off of the river trent so he decided to just leave it, and now its boomin with pike;),

And no mate, it does arite to land the jacks but had to gill this one in the edge!, as long as its done properly its a fine way to land the bigger ones i rekon.

nice fishing and good pictures mate ,i gill all my big pike easier than gettin flying trebs caught in the net,,,i like the "they are two diffrent pike" quote,,striping on pike is like a finger print ive caught a few people out on other forums saying they had 3 or 4 been same fish lol and a few at my local lake adding pounds onto fish ive caught before lol cant understand why he dont net the pool put jacks in river put a mesh across barrier and fill with carp i fish a place in Leicester ,coalville, has a good head of pike and carp they used to hold nationals for pike on there

"Chazyboi", Yeee thats true of pike! plus one of mines a little smaler than the second!, well it goes down fairly well as wat we call a preadator pool;), theres a few other guys and lads that like to fish it now and again so id rather him keep it as a pike lake, Theres a gravel pit next door for all the carpers!, Yeee well this pits next to castle donnington wich is not too far from coalville area;) atb
