Fishing buddy wanted

Hi I'm based in Northenden Manchester and I'm looking to team up with a like minded pike angler who has transport and would like to fish regular and share costs!
I have been a carp angler for many years travelling down south to do my fishing but over the last few years have been enjoying the pike fishing more and more so having sold all my carp gear I would like to concentrate solely on my pike fishing from now on!
I have everything I need but no transport and my pals don't share my obsession so if you fancy someone to share the costs then please PM me your number I will ring to sort out a session!

Re: Fishing buddy wanted

Hi,

I'm just down the road from you in Northern Moor.

I'm planning to get back out piking this autumn/winter, having not been for a couple of years.

My plan is to sort all my tackle, rigs, bait etc out over the next week or two and then look to get out at the beginning of October to maybe Lymm Dam, Chorlton Water Park or Pennington Flash. I usually go on weekdays as I work shifts - don't know if that suits you?

If you want to send me your mobile number or email, I'll give you a shout at some point. I'm open to suggestions for any other waters you can recommend.

Cheers.

I have been looking at pennington flash myself on Google earth some nice features!
There is a great little water not far too called Ogden reservoir supposed to be some very nice fish in there!
My number is 07528155076 Jason
Chorlton is OK dead-baiting but their rules on barbless hooks even on lures puts me off as I like to do a bit of lure fishing!
Give us a shout pal and we can sort something out!!!

Re: Fishing buddy wanted

Ogden looks good - especially if there's someone to split the fuel bill with!

Never fished Penny Flash or CWP before (just read some reports online) but done a few sessions on Lymm Dam in the past. I also hear Rudyard Lake in Staffs holds some good fish.

I'll give you a bell at some point once I've sorted my tackle out and we'll try and sort something out.

Jamie.

Ogden is stunning nice place had a session on there it's hard but fish are supposed to worth the effort!
Pennington flash also looks good!
Rudyard is so big its best tackled from a boat but not sure if you can hire them on there!
Chorlton is supposed to have fish upto 27Lb so as it's on the door step it's got my interest just on that alone!

Yeah, I'm happy to give any of those a go.

Got quite a bit going on at the minute, but I'll def give you a bell once I know when I'll be going.
