| Early Morning Pike Session got to the chosen swim , two rods set up, baited and cast out, tried various baits , nearside ,farside and middle, fished for 3-4 hours not a touch, however this drain is hard this time of the year not to mention easterly winds kills the fishing on this drain,, will try again next week. |

| Hard luck on the 'Eastside' mate. Over here in the West there was one up for it today. I finished work a little earlier than planned so with a few hours to kill decided a quick trip to the river was in order. Well the good news a new PB Lure caught Pike of 11.05. Really hit it hard (5" Storm Wildeye Shad - I think they are great) lots of head shaking and tail walking too. Bad news - I lost two lures to underwater snags. I'll be trying to get another few hours in ASAP. __________________ E' Pest |
