well inspired by baz's trip the other day ,

i just had to get out
so blagged the pass last night , and could fish till 7

managed to get away from work early and was therefore up by the boats at the kilns by 1.30
weather was gloomy and threatening rain all afternoon

it was quiet again. only thing to spoil it was a txt saying I must be home for 5.50 as mrs p out earlier than thought,

so i had my time shortened, and started working the baits over the chosen area

like baz i had a good run on the close in rod, which had nothing on it

re cast same area but nowt

come 4pm i moved quickle 3 pegs back towards the kilns



whilst resetting the ledger rod i didnt notice the float rod dissapear, but struck and , it cant be can it, yep it was a fish

now came the fun
i went forward to net it and the bank collapsed oops


but i guess at least i was closer to the water now( well ok i had 1 foot in it )
but a result with a fiesty 4-5lb jack


nothing else till 5.10 when i had too leave, it was also comeing over darker than anne robinsons wardrobe

so a short session and after a long long wait a fish
confidence now definately restored

and i may just have to find pub later to celebrate

now lets see if i can get a saturday or sunday pm pass
