size of jig heads to size of soft plastics ?

Hi all new to the forum

ive done alot of pike fishing with lures but not realy done much in the way of fishing soft baits like shads and grubs.

what size jig heads to what size bait ?i'll be looking at baits of around 5/6" and smaller for perch.

also any good stores to check out that you use.

No of inch = No/0. For example 5" bate need 5/0 hook. But because of different manufactures measurements this is just a general rule. In my experience can be one size smaller. For the jigheads the best I've found so far is sovereignsuperbaits.co.uk
