| went fishing i went fishing with my mate today the day started of cold and windy and nothing happening at 8 am to noon moved swims and stuck a sprat that needed using on the bottom of the far bank ... nothing happening so we decided to try the leap frog technique so started to reel in and bang ive hit another bloody snag WAIT snags dont move i was in eventually after a not very hard fought fight lasting about 2 mins i had a 7 1/2lb pike on the bank lovely looking fish and not a bad start to my account. more luck than judgement but they all count. nothing else doing for the rest of the day. i tried using a glove to unhook but it was too awkward so my mate took over unhooking. got 2 pics weighed and back in the water. what a great day on the river wey!     |
