| Re: the serial blanking continues Cracking photos Dave, I know quite a few people who are having a hard time on that canal at the moment. It doesnt really seem to have switched on at all yet this season. I seem to be doing a lot better on Tivvy although I went up there today and the spot I wanted to fish was completely iced over again! __________________ Pike Anglers Club of Great Britain, Region 13 Devon. | Re: the serial blanking continues Unlucky Dave. At least you are making the effort and getting out there - unlike me, I still have to get down there yet this year. Hope its not going to be as dire as last year as it was pretty dismal..Nice pics too, makes me want to get down there even more. |

| Re: the serial blanking continues Great pictures despite no Pike ![]() I was in your position 2 weeks ago & I reckon the only way to catch is to rove, you can sit it out all day for one decent fish (or none) or go to them, I have had 3 Pike in 2 sessions and all of them took within 10 minutes of casting into the swim......... I used to sit it out with two rods for a Wogan, but now one rod & get on my bike....deffo pays off & you keep warmer! Good luck for your next outing ![]() |
