first trip on canal 2011, usual result

well first trip to the canal this year after being frozen for weeks
but we have had shed loads of rain and the water was like chocolate,

as a precaution to the kilns track being flooded i walked from sewage works to kilns on oposite bank

weather was ok with a few showers , was hopeing the pike would be rooting about, and chucked out some big smellly mackeral and herring baits

had one exciteing moment on left hand rod but pulled in a 10lb weedfish

then loads of floating weed

batteries in headtorch died so had to leave at dusk

for info people were on kilns bank so guess track passable

next time as ever
