Smile Pike and Predators magazine

I was a bit fed up with "Improve your coarse fishing " which I had on subscription, and was also an occasional reader of Total Coarse Fishing. I usually didnt read half of the magazines, and ended up buying the Anglers Mail instead. however I thought I would give "Pike and Predators" magazine a go, and have done a 3 month subscription initially. For some reason I had it in my head that it was some sort of amateurish magazine, but it is none of the sort and it actually appears to be very good, with well written, informative articles. I got hold of a back issue initially to have a read, and as it happens that one issue had big articles on 2 of the things I am always in a turmoil about when pike fishing. One article was on the merits of "sitting it out, waiting for the pike to come to your deadbaits or to keep mobile and cover a lot of water". The second article was about how mobile pike are, and how/when and at what time of the day do they feed etc. Both articles were very good, backed up by good examples and facts too. Another issue has a large article on canal predator fishing, which is also of use to me.
This isnt an advert - lol, but I thought I would mention the magazine in case anyone was thinking of trying something different. Plus you can get back issues for £3 each, inc p&p. I used http://www.carptalk-shop.co.uk/ to order my subscription. There are some other websites you can order off, and they take paypal, though I dont believe carptalk-shop uses paypal.
I am hoping the magazine articles will help my catch rate (and size of pike n perch) improve - you never know!
