| Venue Help Hi folks, After a break from fishing mainly due to work I can feel myself starting to get that itch back the need to just get out onto the bank away from everything and to introduce my son to something other than xbox and sky tv. So out goes dad buys a pair of pike rods and all the gear to go with it and now im sat here thinking "right I have all the gear and no idea" so after my long winded ramble my question is where would be a good place to go in the Hull and East Yorkshire area ? for someone looking to gain some experience and build some confidence with this great fish. Thanks for listening to a rather long winded question and thanks in advance. Andy. |

| Re: Venue Help Hi Guys, Fingers crossed I should be going to the Hull PAC meeting end of the month and I have joined the HDAA had a couple of blanks on the their stretch of the river Hull, though to be honest high, fast and full of colour is probably not the best way to start lure fishing for pike, maybe this weekend I can make it onto a HDAA stillwater No2 was 1/3 fishable on Sunday so maybe head there on Saturday afternoon. |
