Yellow braid! Any good?

Hi all, had a real mess today whilst lure fishing and it ended up with a real mess knots and mess every where. So now I am shopping for new braid tommorow and wondered if the yellow braid was any good? Or should I stick to green? And is twenty five lb the right BS. cheers for any help you can give!

never used yellow braid for plugging,, normally green or black,,, however i have used yellow braid for deadbaiting but had a 15 foot mono leader, but i did catch pike with it
