| Pike Waters in Cotswold Water Park I've been pike fishing Ham Pool, Wick and Whitefriars at South Cerney in the Cotswold Water Park for a couple of years for the Pike but it's been extremely hard going. Are there any other Gravel Pits in the Cotswold Water Park that anyone would recommend? How do I go about joining or getting a day ticket etc? |

Lechlade / Bushy Leaze trout fishery used to have a day ticket pike water....It was closed for a while, however, I think it may have been re-opened this winter. Good trout water's if the pike lake is still closed none the less! |

| Re: Pike Waters in Cotswold Water Park I wouldn't even bother fishing whitefriars! It's extremely difficult to locate the pike on there! Around the boats should hold fish but i've yet to find them on there 90 acres and no boats for fishing is never gonna be any good ![]() Ham is ok but full of crayfish. Only ever had a couple of jacks in there. Wick is a pretty easy water to catch pike on, i must have had 30+ pike to over 20lb since september, had 2 blanks fishing it most weekends for only 3 or4 hour sessions. You have to be there when they feed which is pretty sporadic seems to be half hour feeding sessions with little-no activity in between. ![]() What bait you using? |

| Re: Pike Waters in Cotswold Water Park The session at Whitefriars was a blank and temperatures dropped to -7. 48 hours solid of that was enough to chill me to the core. Ham we usually do OK on but I fancied something different, which I got. A Blank. I generally try to use herring, sprat and mackrel as they ooze oil. Wick was frozen solid so wasn't an option on that weekend. Again, as you say with Wick sporadic feeding and usually only at the Fridays Ham Lane End. What baits you been taking on from Wick? Kev. |
