| walked the exe canal for info, 21/22/10/10 popped along from swans to turf yesterday weeds very patchy but light big problem is that the council are fixing the bank from the carpark down to the bird lookout, so loads of disturbance( and limited parking ) and lime or dust going into the water there, so i'll prob leave for a week went lime kilns this afternoon weed is few and far between but a fair amount of underwater weed, but was ok with a shad, amazeingly the farbank is clear for this time of year, but guess when wind changes the wed wil move again the water is totally gin clear and low at moment as can see bottom and lures from a long way off didnt have a touch today but a small jack yesterday and guy at the kilns had a 5lber both access roads are now fully tarmacked and lovely ( guess the kilns road will still flood though) and both have vicious speedbumps![]() dave oh and i have a big pass monday from early doors ![]() __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |

| Re: walked the exe canal for info, 21/22/10/10 well it all looked better than it was, ended up a short session as the underwater weed near boats is horrendous, and i stuck it out for 3 hours , all baits were completely covered even the popped up ones I'll try a differnt area next trip, or hope this cold weather comes and kills it back a bit __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |
