Where do you get your Deadbait from?

Well, The question is in the title, Just wondering might start buying from other places. Personally I buy the lights f lamprey, smelt, eel e.t.c But through the summer I froze some mackerel tails. So what do you do?

I mainly use my local tackle shop but I also get the Mackerel,sprats and sardines from morrisons, miles cheaper. Or for course fish simply catch and freeze

Well I dunno where u guys fish but I would get shot if caught killing fish for my bait, dont think the bailiff would be happy lol! also I cant seem to get hold of an un-gutted fish at my local supermarket now for some reason! do u guys think this matters??

tescos fishmonger is a good source but i do occaisonally use online baits,
they are very good

another good cheap bait is the big bags of frozen sprats / mullet/other weird foriegn fish you can get in cash and carrys like makro

I mostly get mine from Tesco. Mackerel & Sardines. I paid 93p for 4 sardines last week. Awesome. Same thing down the fishing shop costs a fiver! LOL

Sometimes I use local supermarkets , but mainly use online baits for good quality baits.........like lampray

You could also wait till the match men finnish ,, they seem to have a few loses,
due to the way they treat fish . have a walk around the lake river when they finnish , theres always a few/ floating
