if that is the case don't fish for them unless you are with an experienced pike angler who can teach you how to handle the fish on the bank and you can gain some confidence and overcome the fear

i dont mate not for me pike unless i got taught how to handle them dont fancy losing a finger

in 30+ years of pike fishing i have never heard of anyone losing a finger ,

why did you even bother to post if you are scared of them if you use a decent glove and big forceps you have nothing to worry about but as previously stated if your scared dont bother fishing for them

its when your scared you will get hurt
