Thanks for putting more pics on the post Dave. It was nice to meet you and Ian for the first time since I joined the forum. Shame I didnt have time to talk to both of you more (and also to the other guys fishing) but chit chat was a tad difficult as we were all leap frogging along the bank, fishing 15/20 yards apart, and the strong wind meant it was difficult to hear someone even if they shouted! I am surprised (but delighted) I won, because for the first 2 hours of the competition I was trying to master my new baitcaster reel and lure rod, as I hadnt really used it prior to the comp, and my attempts to cast in the strong wind with braid meant I kept getting birds nests, and spent quite a while untangling the mess, and swearing repeatedly!
A very enjoyable day, with new friends, and a couple of fish .....
