Going to be my last pike session of the season on the 8th March.

Re: Going for a big one

So, todays pike session didn't go anywhere near as planned! Put my first rod in the water at about 7 this mornin and within 5 mins i got a run and lost it (was prob about 8lb or so) things were looking up at this point, really trhought they were on the feed..........or not. I tried everything LOL, 3 different types of static baits on the bottom, tried spinning, pluggin and wobbling the bait.....not a scratch.

Need to drown my sorrows!

Re: Going for a big one

Sorry to hear you blanked, particularly after that first early run too, as it does give you false hope and expectations..!..
