| Re: Going for a big one Yeah the last coz i dont do alot of pike fishing and will be moving on to carp. Will do the odd day on the canal spinning thou for pike and zeds but just not setting up on the bottom or floating. Only 6 days and im off! |

| Re: Going for a big one So, todays pike session didn't go anywhere near as planned! Put my first rod in the water at about 7 this mornin and within 5 mins i got a run and lost it (was prob about 8lb or so) things were looking up at this point, really trhought they were on the feed..........or not. I tried everything LOL, 3 different types of static baits on the bottom, tried spinning, pluggin and wobbling the bait.....not a scratch. Need to drown my sorrows! |
