the photos of 8 pike up to the low doubles, were found lying on the bank gutted recently on an irish water. more needs to be done to stop these cretins.

Its Absolutely Disgusting That Anyone Would Take One Fish And Do This Let Alone To Eight Fish. I Totally Agree More Should Be Done To Stop This. There Should Be Zero Tolerance On Anyone Taking Fish From Our Fish Stocks.

Totally agree - yet another threat to our fish stocks! - But how do we stop this - If a fishery owner shoots a cormorant, he gets a beating from bird-watchers and English Nature. The savagery of Otters gets more Government support than 4 million of the voting public

When I lived on the Oxford canal the tow rags would offer to buy anything fish wise that came out of the water.
more than one over persistant pole ended up in the water.

I have no interest in joining Facebook or anything like it. If you can post pics of this alleged carnage here please do so. No dis-respect meant, but why would anyone go to the trouble of catching 8 fish, gutting them and then leaving them behind?

Everyone knows fishing has been bloody tough lately, wether on sea or inshore . If they have caught that number in a single session we need to know how!
