Re: multiplyer and rod

hello mate, i was bought a john wilson six shooter rod and reel as a present and to be honest it was pants, there are many different types of lure rods from small micro lures up to large jerk baits, if you only want to fish smallish lures ie spoons, spinnerbaits, small shads i would get a small 6-8ft rod and a small fixed spool reel, okuma do some affordable ones and some 12lb line and your off!! if you decide that you do wish to move up to bigger lures then i would then purchase a small abu or shimano multiplier and a two handed rod as it will give you more choice as to the lures you can use, as a single handed rod is awkward and limited in use, tight lines
