anyone fancy pike fishin in norfolk?

hi all, as the season is upon us anybody in the anglian area fancy a bit of a social, share a few places,or just give a few less experianced pikers a bit of help. i go most weekends and have been pike fishin for the last 12 yrs, all welcome, see if we can all put a few extra fish on the bank... tight lines

I have lived in norwich all my life (39yrs) and fish the broads for pike all year round, i'm up for a session, where do you fancy?, the bure? thurne? trinity?, i have access to several boats so location is not a problem but am willing to bank fish! (PAC Region 33 member).

hello mate, i used to fish the bure a lot as i live in coltishall, but its gone really quiet of late,so ive decided to give a few stillwaters a good bash this winter,like swanton morley, catch 22, broome pits and a few estate lakes i know! or anywhere you fancy really... i go every sunday, with a mate of mine, but its good to get a couple of people together just to make it a bit more social really,after all it is supposed to be enjoyable!! we went to blickling today and had 5 pike to 14lb and now tryin to pick a pit for next sunday, your more than welcome to come along tight lines

Hello craigy-boy, been out on the bure at wroxham today for a three hour session with the lures, had one around the four pound mark , good to see some colour in the water , saw a few pikemen along the way sitting behind deadbait rods wthout even a run!, same with the thurne at martham with fish still falling to my lures, we need a good frost to bring the bigger girls out!, had a chuck along coltishall common the other week and was surprised i couldn't pick up a jack or two at least??, talking of pits a friend of mine has orginised a pike match late january next year on a smallish pit around the norwich area, with a chance to all meet up for the match and a social, i'm currently working a week on week off pattern so i do get plenty of hours out on the bank, boat in that week!, i vary my methods depending on the circumstances of the day with it being either lures, deadbaits, wobbling etc etc, i have also been up to the fens last wednesday and fished the delph at wellney which produced a nine pounder to a lure, had a few plucks during the day on the lure rod but again they weren't interested in my deads??,i have thought about giving swanton morley another go this winter as it normally throws out a lump or two!, would be good to meet up along the bank sometime soon, can i send you a PM nearer the time as this is a new forum for me and like the other forums i'm on i don't wish to upset anyone, landowners, baliffs, or the community.In the meantime tight lines and see you soon!...
