 which pike fishing rod? Hi, Just wanted to know what is a good rod to buy for pike fishing? My boyfriend wants one for christmas but I dont know what to look for as I know nothing about them. Any info would be really appreciated thanks a lot. Jenny     |

| Re: which pike fishing rod? Hi Jenny, What is your price range? and would it be used for bait fishing or for lure fishing? The new "Greys Prowla" rods look good, they are at the middle to upper end of the price bracket but i would guess they would be worth it, i am hoping to get one for christmas... I have a pair of drennan e sox dead bait rods, they are a 3lb test curve, lovely rods, put a dead bait out a good way, nice cork handles which are lovely when weathers freezing rather than foam grips that freeze up, light and thin and you feel everything from the fight they are £99 each but i got pair for £150 unfortunately they are in roof( where i cant get up to at moment) so currently using a pair of 2 & 3/4 lb test curve carp rods , which also work very well,( and you can find far cheaper) but i'm a tackle tart and really need to get up into the attic soon  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |

I was at a tackle shop this morning and I must say the prowla 3.5lbs TC looks and feels great, FP I always heard that the fox warriors got a good name, but have they not been discontinued??
